Host an Event of Your Own

Have you ever wanted to explore event planning? Is there an event you’ve dreamed of organizing? We’d love to work with you!

Here are some examples to get your creative juices flowing:

  • Invite 20 of your friends to cook up a storm by hosting a cooking party
  • Host a boutique sale at your home. Gather six or seven vendors, each donating 20 percent of the proceeds to Magee, and one item to be raffled off
  • Gather your friends for a formal wine dinner
  • Host a reception at your home, and Magee will supply the speaker
  • Organize a Monte Carlo night at your home or other venue

The opportunities are endless. For additional ideas or more information, email Denise Wickline at or call 412-641-8911.

Teen Service Opportunities

Many teens are required to do a senior project, and we want to help. Has your son or daughter considered organizing a fundraising activity for their project? Here are a few examples your teen may want to consider:

  • Fashion show–work with a boutique and have your friends be the models
  • Contest–organize a teen talent night, or chef bake-off
  • Bring your school chorus and jazz bands together for a benefit concert
  • Host a live and silent auction
  • Organize a craft show
