Event Details

Date: Sunday, June 29, 2025 (Rain or Shine) 

Time: 11:30 A.M. to 1:30 P.M.

Where: Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium (Check in at the Garden Tent, across from the Carousel)

With the largest NICU in Pennsylvania, the highly trained team at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital cares for more than 2,000 premature newborns annually across the tri-state area. Proceeds will benefit NICU family initiatives at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital.
 

Admission Information

IMPORTANT UPDATE! The Zoo has changed their regular admission process for this year. Admission bracelets will not be mailed ahead of the event, but you will receive an event voucher for your tickets purchased. The new process is outlined below.

Regular Admission:

1. When you arrive at the Zoo, enter through Admission Booth #2.
2. Show the Gates Team your event voucher and provide them with the name of the event: Magee-Womens NICU Reunion
3. A hole punched, color-coded wristband will be provided to each member of your party, admitting you into the Zoo for the day. You must enter the Zoo at Admission Booth #2 by 4:30 P.M. on June 9.
4. Proceed to the Garden Tent for the NICU Reunion activities and to pick up your Zoo Bucks. Show your event voucher(s) at registration.

Zoo Member Admission (this process is the same as in years past):

1. You will receive your Zoo Pass for the event in the mail ahead of time.
2. When you arrive at the Zoo, enter through the Membership House as you would any other day at the zoo.
3. Proceed to the Garden Tent for the NICU Reunion activities and to pick up your Zoo Bucks. Show your Zoo Pass(es) at registration.

Ticket Information: 

Tickets are $21 per person. If you are an active member of the Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium, you must purchase a $10 "zoo pass" for the event, for each member of your party. Admission is free for children under 2 years old. Each attendee will receive $8.00 in Zoo Bucks that can be picked up at the Garden Tent on event day.

For ticket orders placed by Thursday, June 12, the purchaser will receive vouchers for all tickets or zoo member passes in the mail. For all ticket orders placed after Thursday, June 12, the purchaser will receive their vouchers via email and will need to print and bring with them to the event. 
 

Event Day Information:

Your admission includes access to the Zoo from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Activities begin at 11:30 a.m. at the Garden Tent, which includes our annual raffle, crafts, live music, meeting zoo animals, face painting, Mr. Wu’s Shaved Ice, and gifts for the children. We'll gather at 12:30 p.m. for the annual group photo at the Garden Tent entrance.

T-shirt Information: 

T-shirt orders will not be mailed this year.

T-shirts and onesies are $15. All T-shirt orders will be available for pick up on Wednesday, June 11 & 18 from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at our office (3240 Craft Place, Pittsburgh, PA 15213).  

On event day, t-shirt orders can be picked up from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the zoo entrance, Magee tent. After 11:30 a.m. you can pick up your t-shirt at the Garden Tent.
