My passion is translating research discoveries to impact clinical care. Studying tumor samples donated by breast cancer patients is a vital step in this process, and we are grateful to the many women at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital who donate their excess tissue to fuel our mission of curing breast cancer.
Jennifer Xavier, PhD

Research in Brief

Dr. Xavier’s research interests are in the fields of precision medicine and translational breast cancer research. In addition to her position as Research Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmacology and Chemical Biology, Dr Xavier serves as the Associate Director of Research, Institute for Precision Medicine, University of Pittsburgh.
