About Us: Magee-Womens Research Institute is the nation’s largest research institute dedicated to women’s health. Our scientists are driving groundbreaking discoveries that improve the lives of women everywhere — from maternal health to cancer research, infertility, endometriosis, aging, and beyond. We are seeking an Events Intern to support our calendar of community and partner events. This internship offers hands-on experience in event planning, logistics, marketing, and content creation — all while helping to advance research that improves women’s health across the lifespan.
What You'll Gain:

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with planning, logistics, and on-site support for Magee-Womens and partner events
- Attend key annual events, assisting with setup, onsite registration, and post-event tear down support
- Assist with organization and tracking of promotional materials and giveaways
- Assist with coordination of silent auction and raffle items, including tracking, managing, and post-event item distribution
- Support onsite activations with setup, merchandise sales, and tear down assistance
- Assist with event preparation tasks, including registration lists, nametags, and packing marketing or promotional materials
- Conduct event attendee research (e.g., LinkedIn profiles, organization details, headshots) to support event engagement and follow-up
- Assist with post-event follow up including updating attendee lists, compiling surveys and evaluations, and assisting with data capture and entry
- Assist with Capturing photo and video content for use across web and social media platforms
- Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to share content and assist with social media posts related to events
Qualifications:
- Detailed-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, content management systems, and social media platforms
- Interest in women’s health, event management, or nonprofit marketing
- Availability for select evening and weekend events
Time Commitment and Compensation:
- 10 hours per week, beginning ~March/April 2026 through August 15, 2026. (Can begin during the spring semester.)
- Hybrid work environment, with some required in-office and on-site days.
- For college credits (3 credits)
