My work aims to better understand how pregnancy complications like preeclampsia signal later cardiovascular risk, so we can intervene early and promote lifelong health for women.
Janet M. Catov, PhD, MS
Research in Brief
Dr. Catov studies how pregnancy complications—like high blood pressure or preeclampsia—can reveal hidden risks of heart disease later in life. Her goal is to identify those at risk early and create lasting interventions to promote women's health beyond pregnancy.
