Confocal Microscope Core
The Confocal Microscope Core is equipped with a Leica Stellaris confocal microscope, our primary high-resolution imaging system. The Stellaris platform offers advanced photon-counting detectors (HyD), high-speed scanning, robust spectral imaging, 3D reconstruction, live-cell capabilities, and a streamlined LAS X acquisition interface suited for both routine and quantitative imaging applications.
A Nikon A1R confocal microscope is also available as a backup system. The A1R provides resonant scanning capability, standard and high-speed imaging, single-plane acquisition, Z-stacks, and 3D reconstruction, supported by offline Volocity imaging software.
Together, these instruments allow users to perform a wide range of imaging—from fixed slides to live-cell experiments—ensuring flexibility and continuity of service.
