In collaboration with the University of Pittsburgh, Magee-Womens Research Institute (MWRI) offers a High School Research Trainee Program separate from the Magee-Womens Research Institute Summer High School Internship Program. The High School Research Trainee Program is a non-paid research training program offered throughout the year.

High school students must be at least 16 years of age and have a sponsoring researcher from within Magee-Womens Research Institute. No one under the age of 16 will be permitted to participate in the Magee-Womens Research Institute High School Research Trainee Program.
