2023 INTERNSHIP APPLICATION

Magee-Womens Research Institute (MWRI) is the largest research institute in the U.S. devoted exclusively to women’s health and reproductive biology. Each summer, we host high school students from the Western Pennsylvania region for an intensive 4-week internship in which students work directly with a member of our faculty on cutting-edge research projects.

This year we are pleased to offer two internships to outstanding PRSEF participants whose projects and/or interests align with MWRI’s mission of improving the lives of women through women’s health research.

This 4-week experience includes an hourly wage. Additional programming will introduce students to a career in research and medicine, provide training in data presentation and reading scientific literature. All students are expected to give a presentation of their work at the end of the 4 weeks.

Please note that internships are limited to current high school juniors and seniors for Fall 2023.
